About
My name is Eli Portnoy and as of this post I am 25 years old. I am originally from Mexico City and I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
I was selected as one of the top 20 young entrepreneurs by BusinessWeek.com this past year, and about a month ago Inc. magazine named me the 21st coolest young entrepreneur. I have also been quoted in StaffingIndustry.com, WorkforceManagment.com, Entrepreneur Magazine, and various other publications.
About 12 months ago I set off on the most exciting journey of my life; I started a company. Over the next few months I will recount how we went about building, developing and creating Emerging Demographics Inc. Some days were fantastic and others were terrible, but through thick and thin we stuck through it and we lived to tell about it. Please feel free to write me or comment on any of the issues I discuss, as I would like this to be a platform for communication, rather than a static page.

Hi, do you have any reading references you can sugest regarding attracting a CEO for an early stage startup? By early stage I mean that we have developed an advance engineering prototype (and have patents) under Phase II SBIR ready for commercialization efforts. We lack the comercialiation leadeship experience necessary to take next steps.
Would appreciate any links or reading suggestions.
Tom
